Heute
würden wir um 17 Uhr mit der CV Interilhas von Maio nach Praia, Santiago fahren…
zurück in die pulsierende Hauptstadt der Kapverden – so ganz anders als der
Rest! Und ich hab 6 der 10 Inseln bereist in diesen 2 Monaten! : ) Praia ist
ganz klar der nationale und internationale Knotenpunkt der meisten Flüge und
Fähren auf den Kapverden und auch wir würden unseren Rückflug ab Praia antreten…
Today at 5 pm we would take the CV Interilhas ferry from Maio to Praia, Santiago… back to the vibrant capital of Cape Verde – so different from the rest! And I travelled 6 of the 10 islands in these 2 months! : ) Praia is clearly the national and international hub for most flights and ferries in Cape Verde and we would also take our return flight from Praia...

Wir
genossen den Tag mit einem ausgiebigen Frühstück im Casa Evora (https://casa-evora.com) und am herrlichen
Strand vor der Tür… um 16 Uhr traf unser Taxi ein und fuhr uns die 5 Minuten
zum Hafen. Wieder, wie bei unserer Ankunft, verspätete sich die CV Interilhas (https://www.cvinterilhas.cv/home) um
1 Stunde, und wieder war es dasselbe Problem beim Andocken! Aber wir waren
bereits geübt in Geduld und Gelassenheit und genossen schlussendlich eine
ruhige Fahrt!
We enjoyed the day with a hearty breakfast at Casa Evora (https://casa-evora.com) and the beautiful beach in front of the door... our taxi arrived at 4 pm and drove us the 5 minutes to the port. Again, like when we arrived, the CV Interilhas (https://www.cvinterilhas.cv/home) was delayed by 1 hour, and again it was the same docking problem! But we were already practiced in patience and composure and finally enjoyed a smooth ride!

Um 19:30 Uhr kamen wir in Praia an, schnappten uns ein Taxi und checkten eine Stunde später im Oasis Atlantico Praiamar (https://www.facebook.com/HotelOasisAtlanticoPraiamar) ein. Herrlich wieder hier zu sein! : ) - Ich logierte während meines ersten Aufenthaltes in Praia vor einem Monat schon hier. - Wir bezogen unser grosszügiges Zimmer mit herrlicher Terrasse aufs Meer und begaben uns schnurstracks zum Hotelrestaurant um ein leckeres Filet mit Gemüse zu verschlingen. : )

We arrived in Praia at 7:30 pm, grabbed a taxi and an hour later checked into Oasis Atlantico Praiamar (https://www.facebook.com/HotelOasisAtlanticoPraiamar). Great to be back! : ) - I stayed here a month ago during my first visit to Praia. - We moved into our spacious room with a wonderful terrace overlooking the sea and went straight to the hotel restaurant to have a delicious tenderloin with vegetables. : )
