After my fully conscious mornings with Cape Verdean coffee and weed, meditation, blogging, freshly squeezed orange juice, breakfast and everything else that come to my mind, it was time to explore the rest of the island...

Sao
Vicente ist klein: ca. 20 x 20 km. Es gibt eine 40 km Rundstrasse, die etwa
einen Drittel der Insel abdeckt, davon ist ein Drittel der Strecke auf Kopfsteinpflaster
zu bewältigen…
Sao Vicente is small: about 20 x 20 km. There is a 40 km loop road that covers about a third of the island, of which a third of the way is on cobblestones...

Das erste Mal fuhr ich im Gegenuhrzeigersinn inklusive Abstecher
nach Salamansa T’s Beach Club (https://web.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100089464156037)
und am Tag darauf wie die Uhr inklusive eine Visite des Monte Verde, mit 744 m
die höchste Erhebung der Insel.
The first time I drove counterclockwise including a detour to Salamansa T's Beach Club (https://web.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100089464156037) and the next day with the clock including a visit to Monte Verde, with 744 m the highest point on the island.

Das
äusserst sympathische Städtchen Mindelo ist der Start- sowie der Zielpunkt, wo alles
zusammenläuft – ideal um meine täglichen Einkäufe zu erledigen! : ) In der
Taverna (https://web.facebook.com/TavernaMindelo)
genoss ich eine leckere Tagliata auf roher Rösti und im Caravela Laginha (https://web.facebook.com/caravela.nigthclube?_rdc=1&_rdr)
ein Nationalgericht: Pommes mit Speck und Käse überbacken – dazu Caipirina mit
Grogue!

The extremely likeable town of Mindelo is the starting and finishing
point, where everything converges - ideal for doing my daily shopping! : ) At
the Taverna (https://web.facebook.com/TavernaMindelo) I enjoyed a delicious
tagliata on raw rösti and at the Caravela Laginha (https://web.facebook.com/caravela.nightclube?_rdc=1&_rdr)
a national dish: french fries gratinated with bacon and cheese – plus a couple
of caipirina with grogue!
